For a limited time, movie fans can get their own private big screen experience at The Strand. For just $300, guests can rent out the entire Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre for themselves and up to 15 friends and family members.The Strand launched the Family Movie Night package this month, and it has already proven to be popular with movie fans looking for a safe way to reconnect with friends and family.Guests can book their private movie night on The Strands website. The movie night rental costs $300, or $500 for a back-to-back double feature.Up to 15 guests can attend, and each private movie night is equipped with a fully stocked and staffed concessions stand as well as a full bar. Each guest receives a voucher for a popcorn, soft drink, and candy of their choice. Additional concessions and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.The theatre is thoroughly sanitized before and after each group, and seats are pre-marked to help guests safely distance. Guests are required to wear masks at all times when not seated in the auditorium (entering and exiting the lobby, visiting concessions and restrooms, interacting with staff, etc).
