Dance Canvas presents the Choreographer Career Development Initiative (CCDI) and Dance Canvas: on Film, showcasing the work of seven choreographers and four filmmakers in its 17th season. Executive Artistic Director Angela Harris emphasizes a theme of reconnection and celebration, highlighting the innovative creations set to debut on stage at the Rialto Center in March 2025. Among the featured choreographers are Alexandra Light, a principal dancer with Texas Ballet Theatre, and Jameel Hendricks, a recent recipient of the International Choreographer Award. The season also includes a partnership with the High Museum of Art's Dance Lab, allowing audiences to witness the creative process firsthand.
