DOCTOR DE SOTO, a world premiere at the Alliance Theatre, adapts William Steig's beloved tale into a vibrant stage production. Written by Idris Goodwin and directed by Mark Valdez, the story follows Doctor De Soto and his wife as they confront a fox with a rotten tooth, despite their promise not to treat predators. The cast features Shelli Delgado as Young De Soto, Bethany Anne Lind as the Fox, Shaun MacLean as Doctor De Soto, and Kala Ross as Mrs. De Soto. This engaging fable combines live action, puppetry, and music, emphasizing the impact of kindness and decision-making.
