"Bob's Date" - Bob, who's not actually in the play, is going on his first date in two years. All of his manly inner attributes: Logic, Confidence, Nerves, Libido, and Bull are gearing up for the event. Then a love-at-first-sight moment wakes long-sleeping Emotion, and she threatens to throw the night into chaos. But if the men weren't ready to handle Emotion, then they're certainly not prepared to take on the Memory of the woman who broke Bob's heart.
"Waiting for James" - Laura Robinson, a woman in her mid-twenties, must trust her heart to make the right decision - take a chance on Joel, a charming man she meets in a French restaurant on Valentine's Day, or wait for James, her insensitive boyfriend who just happens to be over an hour late for their date. Joel and Laura's budding relationship is helped along by Laura's inquisitive friend Patty, a matchmaking maitre d', and a bumbling waiter. Laura finally realizes that sometimes you have to do something crazy and impetuous in your quest to find happiness.
