Written by Domonique Morisseau, and based on the true story of the Jena 6 in Louisiana, Blood at the Root explores the complicated and destructive history of race in this country. When violence breaks out because nooses were hung on a tree outside a high school, its up to another generation to combat and rise above the evils of racism.
