NYC Filmmaker Deborah Kampmeier will be at PushPush December 2-4 for a screening, women's workshop, and public Q & A!

Friday, Dec. 2, 7-11pm
Screening of Hounddog and reception
Despite the controversy, this film was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. It won the top jury prize, Best of the Show, at the 2009 Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto and Best Feature at the 2008 Foyle Film Festival in Ireland.

Women's Intensive: "Finding our Voices and Visions"
In addition to writing screenplays and directing films, Deborah teaches acting in NYC. She is also working on a new screenplay called SPLIT. This five-hour intensive workshop for women in film and theater will introduce participants to her own unique style of working on original text with actors, as well as approaches to writing, developing, and directing original material. The workshop will include writing and acting exercises and concludes with scene work from her screenplay using personal and challenging rehearsal techniques. The workshop is ideal for women actors, writers, directors who want to explore new approaches and foster their own voice and content.

Public Q&A
As founder of Full Moon Films Deborah brings 25 years of filmmaking experience to Atlanta artists. In this 2-hour session she will take questions and discuss
developing and funding and new work.
