GRIEFERS will continue to play at Dad's Garage Theatre Friday and Saturday nights at 8 PM until February 27, 2010.
Christian Danley and Randy Havens are the writers and directors of this production. As defined by Wikipedia, a "griefer" is someone who plays a video game in order to irritate and harass other players, rather than pursue game objectives. But what happens when someone from the gaming world experiences real-life grief? The World Premiere of GRIEFERS, direct from the minds of Randy Havens and Christian Danley (who brought you FWD>>), explores just that. Armed with his gaming experience and his best friend, our griefer must face the realities of death, birth, failed relationships, and his own mortality. It's true that wisdom and humor often spring from sorrow, but can one actually learn to "game the system" when the system is life?
