About the Workshop:
Filmmakers today must take control of every aspect of their film. In addition to production, there is fundraising, distribution and audience engagement. This 4-hour intensive, hands-on workshop will cover best strategies for knowing your current audience and building a new fan-base, new funding models, DIY or self-distribution, "transmedia" and participatory audiences, and more.
The workshop will be followed by a networking party with Brian, along with Bill Chapman (VP Creative Development, Turner), Mark Wynns (Producer), Alex Motlagh (Producer), David Bruckner (Director), Linda Burns (Producer), other indie and feature film producers, reps from TBS, IMAGE, and more. A full guest list will be available June 1st.
