Theatre in the Square's first season included a revival of the 1939 Broadway hit, The Little Foxes. In the theatre's 29th Season, the American classic of greed, deception, corruption and manipulation will once again grace the Main Stage of the converted cotton warehouse that is now Theatre in the Square. The Little Foxes opens Wednesday, March 9, at 8 p.m. on the Main Stage. Tickets are available at the Box Office by calling 770-422-8369 or online at www.theatreinthesquare.com.

The Little Foxes reveals the Hubbard family, siblings Regina Gidden (Jessica Phelps West), Ben Hubbard (Clayton Landey) and Oscar Hubbard (Peter Thomasson), are each filled with envy, jealousy, greed and the ability to scheme their way to the top. Along the way, other family members including Oscar's son and wife, Leo (Jeff Edgerton) and Birdie (Mary Lynn Owen) andRegina's daughter and husband, Alexandria (Galen Crawley) and Horace (Ric Reitz), become entangled in the malicious web. As Regina and her brothers try their hand at a profitable business deal with Chicago's Mr. Marshall (Frank Roberts), they will stop at nothing to get the $75,000 needed to close the deal. Throughout the play, the voice of reason is the Gidden's maid, Addie (Donna Biscoe), who sums up the play when she says, "Well, there are people who eat the earth and eat all the people on it, like in the Bible with the locusts. Then there are people who stand around and watch them eat it. Sometimes I think it ain't right to stand and watch them do it."

Members of the artistic team that will bring to life this classic piece of literature include director FrEd Chappell, set designer Elaine Williams, costume designer Alan Yeoung, lighting designer Mary Parker, sound designer BrIan Patterson, and props designer Kathleen Parish.
