Aurora Theatre can help to create the perfect Valentine's Day memory for any romance with the Swing Night at Aurora Theatre My Jazzy Valentine concert on Saturday, February 16, at 8:30 PM. This special edition of the popular concert series will feature the Metro Jazz Club, a smokin'-hot 17 piece band performing an array of songs designed to get couples swinging with their sweetie this Valentine's Day.

Your hostess for the evening will be the incomparable Ann-Carol Pence, Aurora Theatre Associate Producer and Resident Musical Director. Dedicated to the preservation of some of the best music ever composed, Metro Jazz Club is led by jazz sax man Gary Dalton. Metro Jazz Club has two amazing vocalists, velvety crooner Jason Joines and zesty diva Amanda Richards. They will be joined by special guest Liberty Cogen, who recently took Atlanta theatre audiences by storm with her portrayal of the title character in Kiss of the Spiderwoman at Actor's Express. She is thrilled to be home in Atlanta after traveling with the first national tour of Legally Blonde: The Musical. Liberty will star in The Drowsy Chaperone at Aurora Theatre in March.

Once again, Aurora Theatre makes it easy for the guys to look good. Take the romance to an even higher level by adding a Valentine's bouquet from Huffs Flowers or one of three custom Valentine charms from Sparkle! Designs. Add these when you order tickets either by phone or online and your gift will be waiting at the theatre when you arrive. With an 8:30 curtain time, Aurora Theatre gives patrons a chance to enjoy a romantic dinner before attending the concert. With five restaurant partners located within walking distance on the square in downtown Lawrenceville, concertgoers are sure to find something for every taste and price range.

Programming in Aurora Theatre's 2011-2012 Main Stage Season is possible through generous support from Metro Waterproofing and the Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund. Swing Night at Aurora Theatre concert series is sponsored by independent Ameriprise Financial Advisors Chris Reynolds & Kevin O'Brien.
