Suzi Bass Awards Announce Nominees 9/12

Come celebrate with the Suzi Bass Awards as the nominees are announced for the 2010-2011 Atlanta professional theatrical season.  This season's awards include categories covering production, performance and design.  Twenty of Atlanta's professional theatres requested consideration by the Suzi Awards recommending judging panel.  Forty plays and seventeen musicals were deemed “Suzi Recommended”.  

"Suzi Recommended" means that the opening night panel of judges scored the production high enough to meet the Suzi Awards qualification requirements and the production is eligible for nomination for the full slate of 2010-2011 Suzi Awards. 

The Suzi Bass Awards were created to recognize and foster professional theatrical excellence in the Atlanta area, to honor the late and beloved actress Suzi Bass, and to provide a valuable regional and national marketing tool for individual theatres and for the Atlanta professional theatre community as a whole. 

Please join us for our Nomination Event, Monday, September 12, 2011 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, generously hosted by one of our newest theatres,  Fabrefaction Theatre, 999 Brady Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30318. The Nominees for the 2010-2011 Atlanta professional theatre season, as well as the winner of the 2011 Spirit of Suzi Award, will be announced. You don't want to miss all of the fun! And Save the Date – The 2011 Suzi Awards Ceremony will be Monday, November 07, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Tickets will go on sale on September 13th.
