ABOUT KISS ME, KATE
Kiss Me, Kate is a show within a show and involves the characters' putting on a musical production of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew". Each cast member's on-stage life is complicated by what is happening offstage-resulting in an hysterical battle of the sexes, in complete Shakespearean tongue in cheek glory! Kiss Me, Kate features arguably Cole Porter's greatest score including classics such as: "So In Love", "Too Darn Hot", "Wunderbar", "From This Moment On", and "Another Opening, Another Show".
Leading this incredibly talented cast are Paige Mattox as Lilli Vanessi/Katherine; Bryant Smith as FrEd Graham/Petruchio; Lyndsay Ricketson as Lois Lane/Bianca; and A.J. Klopach as Bill Calhoun/Lucentio. The cast also includes this impressive list of Atlanta veterans and favorites: Ritchie Crownfield, Benjamin Davis, George Deavours, Jessica De Maria, Brittany Ellis, Shelby Folks, Luis Hernandez, Greg Hunter, Tyler Sarkis, and Xylina Stamper.
The production/design team includes Jim Alford (Costume Design), Hayley Brotherton (Production/Stage Manager), George Deavours (Wig Design), Kathy Ellsworth (Props Design), Rial Ellsworth (Sound Design), Chuck Welcome (Scenic Design), and John David Williams (Lighting Design).
