Stage Door Players Announces ANNIE GET YOUR GUN

Closing the 43rd Season of Dunwoody's very own professional theatre, STAGE DOOR PLAYERS produces the Classic American Musical, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN. SDP Artistic Director, Robert Egizio directs, with Musical Direction by Nick Silvestri, and Choreography by Jen MacQueen. The show opens on Friday, July 14, 2017 and runs through Sunday, August 6, 2017. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm (additional performances on Thursday, July 27th and August 3 at 8:00), and Sundays at 2:30pm. Single tickets are on sale now at the box office (770-396-1726), or online at www.stagedoorplayers.net. Tickets are $30; senior, student, and youth discounts are available.

ABOUT ANNIE GET YOUR GUN:

With lyrics and music by Irving Berlin, Annie Get Your Gun is a fictionalized version of the life of Annie Oakley, a sharpshooter who starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West, and her romance with sharpshooter Frank Butler. Featuring such classic Musical Theater songs like "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better," "You Can't Get a Man With a Gun," and "There's No Business Like Show Business," the summer just got hotter at Stage Door Players." Featuring the sparring lovers from last summer's hit, "Kiss Me, Kate" Paige Mattox and Bryant Smith as Annie and Frank.

The production/design team includes Jim Alford (Costume Design), Caitlin Cain (Stage Manager), George Deavours (Wig Design), Kathy Ellsworth (Props Design), Rial Ellsworth (Sound Design), AJ Stevenson (Production Manager), Chuck Welcome (Scenic Design), and John David Williams (Lighting Design).
