After playing to standing room only crowds in November, Short Bus Heroes Comedy Tour returns for the season finale of Aurora Theatre Funny Fridays, club comedy performances on the square in downtown Lawrenceville. Short Bus Heroes Comedy Tour is four talented comedians with diverse styles and outlooks who have banded together their comedic powers for good rather than evil, as they end the 4th season of comedy nights with a performance on the main stage at Aurora Theatre. The "Short Bus" will stop at Aurora Theatre on Friday June 24 at 8:00 PM.

The four über-funny fellows that comprise Short Bus Heroes are some of Atlanta's most gifted comics. James "JB" Blackwell is known for his conversational delivery, and is charismatic enough to take his comedy to the other side of political correctness and get away with it. Jamie Bendall is a name well-known in Atlanta comedy as owner of the legendary Punchline Comedy Club. Jamie has been performing stand-up for the last 10 years but he is also a personal injury attorney, sometimes the jokes write themselves. Kevin Mason is a powerhouse comic whose has shared the stage with comedians such as Jon Reep & Ron White. Recently divorced Kevin finds the funny in the difficulties of dating and starting over. Atlanta native Jarrod Harris has been seen on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham. Finalist in the 34th annual San Francisco Comedy Competition and was named Campus Activities Magazine (Hot comics to watch for 2010). Jarrod captures the angst and contradictions of what goes on below the Mason Dixon line and is an authentic comedic voice of the New South.
