STAGE TUBE: First Look at Highlights of New Reimagined EVITA at Serenbe Playhouse

Just in! BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at highlights of a new reimaged EVITA at Serenbe Playhouse. The Playhouse will make the leap from the brutal, humid streets of New Orleans to the lush and rebellious countryside of Argentina with their audacious retelling of the country of Argentina's most infamous political figure. Since the bulk of the play is set in the rural countryside of Argentina, the play will be brought to life in the fresh rolling hills of Serenbe. There, Serenbe Playhouse's beloved Randi Garza will make the famed ascent of Eva. Eventually, at her side in her famed balcony will be world-renowned Argentinian tango and opera singer Cesar Restrepo as Juan Peron. Steaming things up in the background with his talk of revolution will be Broadway's Charlie Brady as Che Guevera. Check out a first look below!

Joining the epic trio will be Atlanta favorites Chase Peacock as Augustín Magaldi and Ally Duncan as the Mistress. The ensemble will feature Becca Potter, Nathan Lubeck, AJ Klopach, Jenna Jackson, Jaclyn Helms, Cherise James, Shelby Folks, Shannon McCarren, Terrence Smith, and David-Aaron Roth.

Joining director Brian Clowdus on the production team is music director Chris Brent Davis, choreographer Bubba Carr, and assistant director Ryan Oliveti. The design team will feature scenic design from Moriah & Isabel Curley-Clay, costume design from Erik Teague and Abby Parker, wig design from Rob Navarre, lighting design from Kevin Frazier, sound design from Daniel Pope, and properties design from Stephanie Polhemus.

Show dates and times for Evita are July 23rd - August 16th on Wednesdays - Sundays at 8:30 p.m.; Tickets are $35 for Adults and $30 for students.
