Picnic Baskets Offered For Concerts At Verizon Wireless Ampitheater Beginning 7/1

Specialty picnic baskets will be offered for all concerts at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park, beginning Thursday, July 1, 2010 when the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra kicks off an Independence Day weekend of music entertainment at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park, the Orchestra's summer home.

The Platinum Picnic Basket is a $1000 tapas-style picnic basket for two to four people, offered at all concerts at the Amphitheatre - it includes exquisite cuisine, and a tax-deductible $500 donation to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park is a not-for-profit performance venue owned and operated by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. (Details below.)

The Tote for Two is a $30 dinner tote of themed cuisine offered at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's performances that complements the Orchestra's programming for each concert at the Amphitheatre. (Details below.)

The Family Four Packs, will return for all Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concerts, and include concert tickets for four seats, four food baskets, four lawn chair rentals, and a parking pass, starting at $95. (Details below.)

Continuing to be offered at all shows at the Amphitheatre are three additional gourmet baskets: the $100 Headliner, $80 Opening Act, $70 Backstage Pass, and the $60 Sunset Picnic. (Details below.)

PLATINUM PICNIC BASKET - AVAILABLE AT ALL CONCERTS

The Platinum Picnic Basket is a $1000 tapas-style picnic basket that will be offered at all ASO Presents concerts, as well as at all Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concerts. The "Platinum Picnic Basket" will not only feature exquisite cuisine (such as Kobe-style Wagyu steak, chilled champagne-steamed Maine lobster, Russian Black Pearl Hackleback Caviar, Venison pate, and more), but will also include a tax-deductible $500 donation to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra - Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park is a not-for-profit performance venue owned and operated by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Anyone purchasing this basket will become a donor at the Principal Level, with benefits including invitations to special events, listing in the Atlanta Symphony program book, discounts to the Atlanta Symphony Store, Table 1280 Restaurant, and more.

TOTE FOR TWO - AVAILABLE AT ORCHESTRA CONCERTS
For the Orchestra's performances, themed cuisine will return with the economical Tote for Two, a $30 themed dinner which complements the programming of each of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's concerts at the Amphitheatre.

For the July 1 concert, an All- American picnic will accompany the regular fare offered at the venue. The $30 "Tote for Two" will feature firecracker red bliss potato salad, sliced chicken breast poached in white wine over chilled fresh roasted garden vegetables, and blueberry swirl cheesecake. Concertgoers not purchasing the "Tote for Two" will be able to purchase a "stand special" the night of the concert - fresh watermelon slices.

FAMILY FOUR PACKS - AVAILABLE AT ORCHESTRA CONCERTS
Returning to all Orchestra concerts, back by popular demand, are the Family Four Packs, a package including concert tickets, food baskets, and parking at an economical price.
For $95, the Family Four-Pack includes four covered/reserved seats located in the rear of sections 101, 102, 104 or 105, or on the Lawn. Also included are four food baskets* and a parking pass. If Lawn seating is selected, four lawn chair rentals will also be integrated. (Service fees are additional.)

For $105, the Family Four-Pack includes four covered/reserved seats in the front of sections 101, 102, 104, and 105, or the rear of sections 103. Also included are four food baskets* and a parking pass. (Service fees are additional.)

* Food Baskets include the choice of a fountain soft drink or bottled water, French fries, and the choice of a hot dog, hamburger, chicken tenders, or Polish sausage.

Single tickets for all 2010 Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concerts at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park are currently available.

Tickets for Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the ASO Presents concert series may be purchased at the Woodruff Arts Center Box Office, located in the Woodruff Arts Center at 15th and Peachtree Streets. Box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre Box Office Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
