Back for a second year, this one-of-a-kind festival offers a chance to come together and perform at North Georgia's premier arts venue, Aurora Theatre. (Venue of the Year, Gwinnett Convention & Visitors Bureau) Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, as 4 amateur theatre groups perform over two weekends in the exquisite and versatile Gwinnett Federal Credit Union Studio. Proceeds from the festival will help to fund their future programming.

The festival will bestow two awards; Festival Favorite for the group that sells the most tickets and Best Poster for artistic poster design. For those who are not able to get their fill of live theatre, we suggest a Festival Pass that offers unlimited admissions to any one patron for one low price.

TRIBUTE TO KICK OFF FESTIVAL JUNE 11
This year, the theatre community was rocked by the events two months ago at Town & Gown Players, the oldest community theatre in the state, when three of their most treasured members were killed in an act of senseless violence.

Aurora Theatre will host a benefit performance on Thursday June 11, at 8:00 PM to pay tribute to those who believed so strongly that theatre improves our lives. Longtime Town & Gown actors, Jeff Evans and Cindy Nason, will present Love Letters by A. R. Gurney on the Strickland Family Mainstage. Minimum suggested donation is $15, but attendees are encouraged to give generously to assist this great organization in a very difficult time

This year's festival will feature the following performances:
New London Theatre - Twelve Angry Jurors by Sherman L. Sergel is adapted from a television show by Reginald Rose
Winder-Barrow Community Theatre - The Dining Room by A.R Gurney
LionheArt Theatre Company - The Love List by Norm Foster
County Seat Players - Getting Sarah Married by Sam Bobrick

"It's like a pot-luck dinner, only on stage." Anthony Rodriguez goes on to explain, "Many of the smaller theatre groups locally have been affected by economic, and in the case of the Town & Gown players, other hardships. This is a great way to support these groups, all of whom offer everyone a chance to taste the limelight. "
