Serenbe Playhouse's "Season of Change" will conclude with the smash Broadway classic, HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, which defined a generation when it first opened in 1967. Now, 45 years later, Serenbe Playhouse, along with director Brian Clowdus, brings the story to life outdoors in a beautiful, vast Wildflower Meadow as they transport us back in time and remind us of the relevance it's message has today.

"This production is a culmination of my work over the past 4 years at Serenbe Playhouse" says Founder Brian Clowdus. "It embodies everything we stand for with a reinvented classic that is actively breaking down the barrier between audience and artist. Upon arriving to The Wildflower Meadow audience members will be transported to Woodstock complete with scaffolding, tents, wandering hippies and plenty of peace, love and happiness. This cast is the most incredible as we have assembled the best of the best of Atlanta Talent... they truly are The Dream Tribe! I firmly believe this production will take Serenbe Playhouse to the next level and can't wait to share it with audiences!"

Serenbe is letting down its Hair this summer with the original rock musical that redefined American Theatre and awakened a generation. Join hands, pick a wild flower and commune with The Tribe, a group of politically active, long-haired hippies of the "Age of Aquarius" as they protest and fight against the Vietnam War. Seeking to find a new way, they begin by recreating themselves as they yearn to change the world.
