Evil Dead the Musical brings Sam Raimi's cult classic franchise to the stage, and Out of Box Theatre brings it home for its Atlanta premiere. This "All Guts, All Glory" musical interpretation of Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness features songs like "All the Men in MY Life Keep Getting Killed by Kandarian Demons," "Ode to an Accidental Stabbing," and "Do the Necronomicon." This musical is not for the faint of heart, but is sure to leave your screaming with laughter.

If you want to take home a souvenir, reserve a seat in the 4D Splatter Zone for a little something extra, and you're guaranteed a good dousing in the house red. Out of Box Theatre's intimate space really makes you feel like you're a part of the action and there's not a bad seat to be had in the house.

Hailed by The New York Times as "the next Rocky Horror show," you don't need to be a fan of Evil Dead to love this show. You don't need to be a fan of horror to love this show. You don't even need to be a fan of musicals to love this show. As long as you like having fun, this show is for you! From Boise ("If there's a better play to get you in the Halloween mood, we don't know of it.") to Miami ("deliciously campy romp") to South Korea ("Audience sees red!"), everyone agrees this is one universally bloody good show.

The creative team includes Roy Wooley, special effects and makeup master, former finalist on Syfy's reality competition program FaceOff, who will be creating the special prosthetics for the production, and Marvel comic artist Mark Brooks (Han Solo) will be creating a limited edition poster. The original artwork from both artists and signed prints of Mark Brooks' poster are available for a limited time through Out of Box's Kickstarter to help fund the show.

Our ATL premiere all star cast stars Jack Allison as Ash, MK Penley, Kristin Storla, Lisa Hatt Bomar, Jim Dailey, Daniel Pino, Trevor Perry, Ali Olhausen, and Julianne Whitehead, and is directed by Zip Rampy, assistant directed by Kiernan Matts, and music directed by Annie Cook.

Evil Dead the Musical opens October 7 and runs through October 30 with Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shows at 8:00 PM and Sundaymatinees at 3:00 PM. Out of Box Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit professional theatre located just outside the perimeter in the Artisan Resource Center at 585 Cobb Parkway S, Marietta, GA 30060. Tickets for Evil Dead the Musical are subject to special pricing and can be purchased online at www.outofboxtheatre.com or by calling the box office at 678-653-4605.
