Out Front Theatre Company proudly announces the programming for its inaugural summer camp series for student theater enthusiasts, from elementary school through college! The camp series will provide an opportunity for area students to learn and sharpen their theatre skills in a welcoming, fun environment with fellow thespians.

"Our inaugural season has been so well received by the community that it was a natural step to expand programming to include students - the future of the arts!" said Jacob Demlow, Assistant Artistic Director and Head of Education for Out Front Theatre Company. "By investing in our artistic youth, we hope to foster a community of theater lovers who will help Out Front Theatre, and the Atlanta arts culture, continue to grow and thrive."

On May 6 and 13, performers ages 14-21 are invited to audition for Out Front Theatre Company's world premiere of the updated production, Zanna, Don't: a Quantum Football Fable. Set to hit the stage from July 27 - 29, the updated production is based on the original off-Broadway hit by Tim Acito, which debuted in 2003. "Perhaps above all, the show wants us to think again about what else we can aspire to be, beyond sexuality or gender identity. While those are two central aspects of human identity, of equal or greater importance is discovering what we stand for - morally, personally, and politically - and having the courage to pursue those ideals," said Acito in reference to his updated show.

During the week of June 26 - 30, elementary and middle school students are invited to go behind the scenes and learn more about the layers of artistic theater. Assistant Artistic Director and Head of Education Jacob Demlow, along with several other Atlanta theater professionals, will lead interactive educational sessions covering everything from stage and costume design to acting and more. The following full and half-day camp packages will be available for elementary and middle school students:

Elementary school day camp: (ages 6 - 10)
Half day: $225
Full day: $350

Middle school day camp: (ages 11 - 13)
Full day: $350
