Newnan Theatre Company announces auditions for the one-act compilation All in The Timing by David Ives on September 20 and 21, 2015. Directed by Justin Jessel, All in The Timing will be presented on November 12 - 22, 2015, in the NTC Black Box Theatre.

All in the Timing is a series of one-act comedies written by David Ives. The short plays range from silly to straight absurd, but each is filled with poignant observations of the world and of life. Actors may play anything from a couple on a date to historical Russian figures to laboratory test monkeys. The show has some mature content, and each actor will have multiple roles. Newnan Theatre Company's All in the Timing is going to have a "Saturday Night Live" atmosphere, with lots of costumes, quick changes, and lively music.

Actors are expected to come prepared with 3 minutes of solo comedic material. This could be a monologue, a stand-up routine, a series of impressions, jokes, or a combination of them all - the goal is to make people laugh, however you think you can do so. Expect to take some direction. There may also be cold readings as needed.

We are looking for 8 actors, four men and four women, any race, ranging in age from 18 to 60, with at least one older male and female, and at least one younger male and female. Roles for each one-act will be determined on the strengths of the actors' audition material.

Newnan Theatre Company does not charge production fees of any kind to any performer to take part in our productions. All roles are non-Equity/non-paying.
