Music Director Robert Spano To Lead Atl Symphony

Music Director Robert Spano will lead the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in Elgar's Symphony No. 1 January 5–7, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center.
Guest pianist Dejan Lazi? will join the Orchestra for Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, "Emperor." These performances will mark Mr. Lazi?'s fourth appearance with the Orchestra.
Following the concert on Friday, January 6, 2012, the Orchestra will host its second Symphony Social of the 2011-12 season in CenterSpace at the Woodruff Arts Center. Designed as a networking event for young professionals, the event will include a champagne toast, dessert, and the opportunity to mingle with Atlanta Symphony musicians.
Tickets are $20, must be purchased in advance, and include admission to the evening's Orchestra performance.
