Celebrate the past and ignite the future with Atlanta Ballet's start to the 80th Anniversary season, Mozart's Magic Flute, choreographed by Mark Godden. This tale is one of romance, adventure, and fantasy as our hero and heroine, the love-struck Tamino and Pamina, embark on a journey inspired by passion. Their enchanting love story causes the heart to yearn and mind to soar.

Godden's interpretation of Mozart's opera The Magic Flute carries this masterpiece to the present day. This captivating choreography will jolt the senses and blur the styles of contemporary and classical ballet. Godden is most recognized for his work at Royal Winnipeg Ballet. He has received critical acclaim internationally, won several awards, and had the great honor of choreographing and directing the Canadian portion of the Olympic Games Closing Ceremonies in Torino, Italy in 2006. Mozart's Magic Flute will be Godden's premiere in the Atlanta area and will leave audiences craving for more. Do not miss this exhilarating ballet that transcends Mozart's operatic masterpiece to new heights.
