Starting November 1, Judge Glenda Hatchett, one of the most powerful voices of daytime television, will challenge America to "Cheer for Our Children" with the launch of the DREAMPOST Campaign, a movement to mobilize parents and influencers to post the dreams of one million youth. The campaign launches with the support of parents, community leaders, and in partnership with more than a dozen national organizations, including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Big Brothers Big Sisters, 100 Black Men of America and United Way.

"The path to greatness begins with a dream," said Judge Glenda Hatchett. "We have to encourage our children to dream without limits, tell them we believe in them, and tell them often. If one million parents join our campaign to post our children's dreams, we won't ever have to worry about posting their bail in the midnight hour."

The goal of the DREAMPOST Campaign is to inspire greatness in America's children. To participate, parents and influencers simply download a free copy of the "handprint of greatness," at www.parentpowernow.com and then ask their child or a child in their circle of influence, "What is your dream for your life?" They then write the dream on the handprint and place it on the child's ceiling above their bed in a posting ceremony so that it's the last thing the child sees every night, and the first thing they see each and every morning. The last step is to post a dream for every child in their circle of influence and encourage other parents to post their children's dreams.

As the former head of one of the country's largest juvenile court systems and the mother of two sons, Hatchett has been a consistent advocate and ally for America's children and their parents. Both on her syndicated television show, "Judge Hatchett" and in her book, "Say What You Mean and Mean What You Say," she has deliverEd Stern counsel rooted in concern and inspiring messages that have resonated in millions of American households.

"Today's children are influenced by countless negative messages," said Hatchett. "It's time that parents and influencers collectively commit to telling our children that we are cheering for them. If we can do this together and consistently, we can steer them toward greatness, despite the uniquely difficult challenges that many of them will face."

Parents, teachers, mentors, clergy, coaches and others committed to positively impacting America's youth are encouraged to participate in Judge Hatchett's DREAMPOST Campaign. To join the movement for the handprint of greatness, and post the dream of your child, or a child in your community, visit www.parentpowernow.com. The site is free to join and every participant will receive a free "handprint of greatness" available for download.

The DREAMPOST Campaign is a prelude to the official January 1, 2010 launch of Parent Power NOW!, soon to become the premiere online social networking community for parents worldwide. The future site will provide parents and influencers with the motivation, tools and resources they need to shape the futures of their children and children in their communities at large.
