On Friday, July 11th, Dad's Garage Theatre Company will be joined by several celebrity friends for Dad's Garage and Friends - a full night of comedy, song, and dance at The Goat Farm Arts Center in West Midtown. Ya heard right - they are producing the most kickass celebrity event in Atlanta this summer (yeah, claiming it'll be better than the On the Run Tour - deal with it, Beyonce). Wait, what is this kickass thing that's so kickass? And just who are these famous friends? Dad's Garage's fearlessly funny improvisers will be joined onstage by Aisha Tyler (Archer), Colin Mochrie (Whose Line is it Anyway?), Kevin McDonald (Kids in the Hall), Tim Meadows (Saturday Night Live), and even Strong Bad of Homestar Runner (via video of course) plus more for a full set of unscripted, high-flying hilarity. What else? They'll be joined by Amber Nash, Lucky Yates, The Atlanta Opera, and Zoetic Dance Ensemble. Also, Margaret Mroczek, clunkyrobot, Travis Overstreet, August Pollak, Ed Morgan and Perry Frost with rock your eye sockets out with their visual art skills during the show (their work will be available for purchase after). And we'll have the finest noshing delights from King of Pops, Pallookaville Fine Foods, and Good Food Truck to fill your belly with. Not too shabby, right? It gets better! This event is a fundraiser for Dad's Garage Theatre Company, so you can rest assured your money is going to a good place -- or at least a sassy non-profit arts organization.

Dad's Garage and Friends is a recipient of The Goat Farm Arts Center's Arts Investment Package (AIP).

"Is Comedy Art? Who cares! We grew up on these people and they are funny as hell. Accepted!! The Goat Farm AIP has kickass flexibility like that." - The Goat Farm Review Board

Tickets are $25 online and $28 over-the-phone or at the door. Hate waiting in line and prefer to be treated like the royalty you are? We have a solution and it is the Fancy Pants Ticket! About Dad's Garage WE'VE MOVED! It's true. Our building has been demolished and we're now doing most of our shows right up the street at 7 Stages Theatre in Little 5 Points. Haven't heard yet? Get more details here: http://www.dadsgarage.com/moving-faq.aspx

Dad's Garage engages, cultivates and inspires artists and audiences alike by producing innovative, scripted and improvised works that are recognized locally, nationally and internationally for being undeniably awesome. Founded in 1995, Dad's has grown from a small volunteer led organization to a thriving mid-size theatre led by professional artistic and administrative staff, as well as over 300 volunteers and performers. We entertain more than 32,000 people per year at our live shows in Atlanta, thousands more on our YouTube channel, and tour both nationally and internationally. While the average age of theatre patrons nationally is 47-55 years old, Dad's Garage attracts a new generation: our average audience member is between 18-35 years old, college-educated, and lives intown. In addition to our outrageous original productions, Dad's Garage produces improv 52 weeks per year, educates young improvisers in a year-round High School Outreach Program, and facilitates onsite classes and workshops for the general public.
