A Georgia Shakespeare favorite returns to kick off our 25th Anniversary Summer Festival. Let Georgia Shakespeare put a spring in your step and a song in your heart with... Shrew: the Musical. The show is conceived & adapted by John R. Briggs, music & lyrics by John R. Briggs and Dennis West with original arrangements by Dennis West

The Bard's romantic comedy The Taming of the Shrew moves to 1930's Miami where Petruchio (Joe Knezevich) and Kate (Park Krausen) quip like Tracy and Hepburn and shuffle like Fred and Ginger.

Great classic theatre comes together with the modern day musical for this original adaptation by John R. Briggs and Dennis West. Filled with high-energy, toe-tapping musical numbers like "It's a Tough Job" and "Trouble's Comin'," it's fun for the whole family.

Shrew: the Musical opens this Friday, June 11, with $12 preview performances on both Wednesday and Thursday, June 9 and 10.

Buy tickets online now, or call our Box Office at 404.264.0020.

Starring Associate Artists (and real life spouses) Joe Knezevich and Park Krausen, the show also features Georgia Shakespeare favorites Chris Kayser, Allen O'Reilly, Courtney Patterson, Neal A. Ghant, and many more.
