Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, presents the fourth production of its 18th "X-traordinary" Season Inherit the Wind, by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, and directed by GET's Artistic Director, Robert J. Farley. The show runs February 24 - March 13, at the Theatre's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest Street, Roswell, GA, 30075. Tickets are available now: online (www.get.org) or at the box office: 770-641-1260.

A sweeping piece of Americana, Inherit the Wind has stood the test of time and remains relevant today. At its core, it examines Americans in conflict over our right to think for ourselves and exchange ideas.

"It has been one of my biggest dreams for Georgia Ensemble Theatre to bring Inherit the Wind to our patrons, practically since we began the theatre almost two decades ago!" says Farley. "This epic event is more timely than ever as we experience our ideological struggle as Americans to be heard. And, at the same time, it's a celebration of the independence and self-reliance of a spirited country."

The cast includes powerhouses John Ammerman, Artistic Director of Theater Emory, and Eddie Levi Lee, celebrating his return to Atlanta from his recent post as Artistic Director of The Empty Space Theatre in Seattle. These men lead an incredible ensemble cast of 23 actors, another thrill for Farley: "Inherit the Wind is inhabited by two of the most dynamic characters ever written for the stage. I am thrilled beyond measure that we have two equally great actors to lead the way. John Ammerman and Eddie Lee will match wits in the greatest courtroom collision of all time, as irresistible force meets immovable object."
