Artistic Director Kenny Leon and True Colors Theatre Company are proud to announce the addition of Eric J. Little as the Director of the Muhammad Ali drama Fetch Clay, Make Man written by Will Power. Little is stepping in and taking over the role of Director from previously announced director Jasmine Guy. Jasmine is having to step away from the project due to scheduling conflicts. This will be Little's directorial debut with True Colors Theatre Company. "We are thrilled to announce Eric on this project," shared Artistic Director Kenny Leon, "he is a talented artist with a long history with True Colors and I think he is going to bring a strong artistic sensibility to how we tell this story."

The play is set in the days leading up to one of Cassius Clay's most anticipated fights, the heavyweight boxing champion forms an unlikely friendship with the controversial Hollywood star Stepin Fetchit. Running October 28 through November 22, 2015 at Fulton County's Southwest Arts Center. The cast includes Rob Demery in the role of Muhammad Ali and Brad Raymond portraying Stepin Fetchit. Amari Cheatom, Danielle Deadwyler, and Brian Kurlander round out the cast.

Fetch Clay, Make Man explores the improbable bond that forms between two drastically different and influential cultural icons. One a vibrant and audacious youth, the other a resentful and almost forgotten relic, together they fight to shape their legacies amidst the struggle of the Civil Rights Movement of the mid-1960s. This true story is as powerful and poetic as Clay himself while also as humorous and irreverent as Fetchit's signature act.

Fetch Clay, Make Man will open on October 30, 2015 and running through November 22, 2015. Performances are Wednesday - Saturday @ 8 PM and Saturday and Sunday @ 2:30 PM. Preview performances are October 27 - 29, 2015 at 8 PM. All performances will be presented at Fulton County's Southwest Arts Center at 915 New Hope Rd, Atlanta, GA 30331.
