Dad's Garage to Stage DEMENTIA JUICE, 6/21-7/27

On Friday, June 21st at 8pm, Dad's Garage will take you on a hilarious, puppet-filled ride to Hell - AKA your in-laws' house, with DEMENTIA JUICE. When you meet your girlfriend's parents for the first time, you want to make a good impression, right? Unfortunately that's pretty hard to do when the walls are melting, everyone's faces keep swapping, and her dad catches on fire right in front of your eyes. Either you just walked into a Dali painting or you're on a serious acid trip. (Hint: it's the latter.)

The artistic director Kevin Gillese and Michael Haverty of Haverty Marionettes (The Colour of Her Dreams, As I Lay Dying) have come together to write a fiercely funny, visually exciting show full of a whole lot of dark and crazy twists including demonic butterflies, fornicating trees, talking furniture, and more. Hey, why not? You're on acid, remember? This scripted comedy uses moving set pieces, masks, and puppets to help you experience what the main character does... minus the freaky flashbacks years later. So, sit back and enjoy the ride! The trippy, trippy ride.
