If you haven't heard, Dad's Garage is moving! The property its building sits on at 280 Elizabeth Street has been purchased and is being redeveloped into a mixed-use space (which might include a few fro-yo joints if you're lucky). But don't worry, Dad's Garage is not closing -- the team will be performing at a temporary home at 7 Stages in Little Five Points beginning on August 10th. But you know Dad's Garage's loveable scamps - they're going to do it up right before they move. In addition to the regular shows, Dad's Garage will be hosting some killer events at our Inman Park space including a garage sale, a farewell improv show, and a giant party!

The Dad's Garage Sale: TODAY, July 21st at 8am - Everything must go... including us! We'll be selling a bunch of costumes, props, and more to help fund our move, so please come out and drop some dough! (And no, we don't ever get up that early, so plan on getting great deals from groggy and confused improvisers who've stayed up drinking all night!)

Free to the public.
Venue: Dad's Garage Theatre, 280 Elizabeth St., Inman Park.

Founded in 1995, Dad's Garage Theatre Company has grown from a small volunteer led organization to a thriving mid-size theatre led by professional artistic and administrative staff that includes over 300 volunteers and performers. We now entertain more than 32,000 people each year! In addition to outrageous original productions, Dad's Garage produces improv shows 52 weeks per year, educates young improvisers in a year-round high school outreach program, and facilitates onsite classes and workshops for the general public. The mission of Dad's Garage is to engage, cultivate and inspire artists and audiences alike by producing innovative, scripted and improvised works that are recognized locally, nationally and internationally for being undeniably awesome.

7 Stages is located at 1105 Euclid Avenue NE in Little Five Points. Their name is derived from the ancient book of I Ching, The Book of Changes (#24, Turning Point). Since 1979, 7 Stages Theatre has been bringing local and international emerging artwork of social, political, and spiritual importance to Atlanta audiences for over 33 years. Artists in performance, musical, visual and the spoken arts have found the organization a haven in the support and development of new works and methods of collaboration.
