As part of their mission to use laughter to uplift their community, Dad's Garage will offer free tickets to furloughed federal employees. Any government employee currently not working, or working without pay, can contact the theatre for a pair of tickets to an improv comedy show. As a nonprofit theatre company, Dad's Garage is dedicated to using laughter to make a positive impact on others. They believe laughter and comedy can bring people together in a way that creates stronger communities and builds empathy for others. They understand the uncertainty facing furloughed federal workers, and They want to extend to them the opportunity to have an awesome time laughing at a great improv show.
Tickets are subject to availability. Up to two free tickets per person, per available show. They will extend this offer up to one month after the shutdown ends. Must be a furloughed federal employee.

Founded in 1995, Dad's Garage Theatre Company has grown from a small volunteer led organization to a thriving mid-size theatre led by professional artistic and administrative staff that includes over 300 volunteers and performers. They now entertain more than 33,000 people each year in Atlanta, at public events across the state, and at improv festivals across the continent. In addition to outrageous original productions, Dad's Garage produces improv shows year-round, educates young improvisers in a high school outreach program, and facilitates classes and workshops for the general public.
