Atlanta Lyric Theatre, the metro area's only professional musical theatre company, presents the high-flying hit musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN tonight, February 13 - March 1, 2015 at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre (548 S. Marietta Pkwy., Marietta). Tickets and group discounts are available by calling 404-377-9948 or visit www.AtlantaLyric.com.

Based on the hit DreamWorks film, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN captures the astonishing and true story of Frank Abagnale, Jr., a world-class con artist who passed himself off as an Atlanta area doctor, a New Orleans based lawyer, and a jet pilot for Pan Am -- all before the age of 21. With straight-arrow FBI agent Carl Hanratty on Frank's trail, we're off on a jet-setting, cat-and-mouse chase, as a jazzy, swinging-sixties score keeps this adventure in constant motion. In the end, Agent Hanratty learns he and Frank aren't so very different after all, and Frank finds out what happens when love catches up to a man on the run.

The Lyric premiere follows hot on the heels of the Broadway run. CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is based on the No. 1 New York Times bestselling book and hit 2002 film of the same name directed by Steven Spielberg with screenplay by Jeff Nathanson and book by Frank Abagnale, Jr.

The charming, high-flying con artist Frank Abagnale, Jr. will be played by Broadway's Chase Peacock (American Idiot), and Carl Hanratty, the FBI agent who is always on Frank's tracks, will be played by Jeff McKerley (The Lyric's Spamalot).

Additional casting includes Alan Kilpatrick (The Lyric's Chicago) as Frank Abagnale, Sr., Courtenay Collins (Alliance Theatre's The Geller Girls) as Paula Abagnale, Alison Brannon Wilhoit (The Lyric's Legally Blonde) as Brenda Strong, Mary Nye Bennett (The Lyric's Spamalot) as Carol Strong, Allen O'Reilly (Theatre in the Square's The 1940's Radio Hour) as Roger Strong, J. Koby Parker as Agent Branton, Jamey Hoge as Agent Dollar, and Fenner Eaddy as Agent Cod. Rounding out the ensemble are Jennifer Lynn Arnold, Avery Gillham, Natalie Rhea Goodwin, Jenna Jackson, Imani Joseph, Tre McClendon, Becca Potter, and Becky Simmons.

Nominated for four Tony Awards and six Drama Desk Awards, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN features book and music by the Tony Award-winning creative team of Terrence McNally (The Full Monty, Ragtime), Marc Shaiman, and Scott Wittman (Hairspray).

The Lyric production features choreography by Cindy Reiser, music direction by BJ Brown, and direction by Lyric Artistic Director Brandt Blocker. Scenic design for CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is by Lee Shiver-Cerone, costume design by Dixon Reynolds, lighting design by Andre C. Allen, and sound design by Bobby Johnston.

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN plays the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre (548 S. Marietta Pkwy., Marietta) February 13 through March 1, 2015. Reservations, group discounts, and information by calling 404-377-9948, or online at www.AtlantaLyric.com.
