Multiple mysterious house fires are rattling a small Norwegian community. As homes are burnt to cinders, neighbors wonder who among them could cause such fear and anguish. Inspired by true events and based on the best-selling Norwegian novel by Gaute Heivoll, Ashes is an emotional thriller that has a shocking twist and examines the fire burning in the heart of every human being. Playing at the Center for Puppetry Arts from March 1-3, the acclaimed production will be performed by Plexus Polaire of France and Norway.
The international performance is presented as part of the New Directions Series for Adults and Teens. Age recommendations vary with each production. The next performance for adults in the New Directions Series will be Xperimental Puppetry Theater (XPT), May 16-19.
