Center for Puppetry Arts to Kick Off the Spooky Season with A GHASTLY GHATHERING Image

It wouldn't be Halloween in Atlanta without the Ghastly Dreadfuls! On Saturday, October 6, the Center for Puppetry Arts' resident agglomeration of musical specters will return from the afterlife to throw A Ghastly Ghathering in celebration of the spookiest season.

This one-night-only event promises to be frightfully good fun for all ghouls, goblins and mortals, ages 18 and older. Guests will enjoy complimentary heavy hors d'oeuvres, ghastly games and activities, deadly dance tunes, beer and wine cash bar and a costume contest. Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes, and the grand-prize winner will get to make an appearance on stage during opening night of The Ghastly Dreadfuls on Wednesday, October 10.

During A Ghastly Ghathering, guests will have a frightfully fun opportunity to enjoy a special spooky self-guided tour of the Worlds of Puppetry Museum. The Museum will be decorated with cobwebs and spooky lighting, and the tour will highlight some of the more devilish puppets on display.

A Ghastly Ghathering is open to guest ages 18+. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door (Members) and $25 in advance, $30 at the door (nonmembers) - plus sales tax. Tickets are available online at www.puppet.org or by calling 404.873.3391.
