Aurora Theatre springs into the season with the popular Aurora Swing Nights concert series with Salute to Hollywood tonight, April 16 at 8 p.m. With selections from some of the silver screen favorite, this will be a night to remember! This concert series features the Metro Jazz Club, a smoking-hot 17-piece band dedicated to the preservation of some of the best music ever composed!

Led by jazz sax man Gary Dalton, Metro Jazz Club is comprised of two amazing vocalists, velvety crooner Jason Joines and zesty diva Amanda Richards. As a special performance, two stars from Aurora's highly anticipated 20th Anniversary Season opener and Tony Award-Winning production, Memphis, will be appearing as guest vocalists for this event. Aurora audiences will remember Cecil E. Washington Jr. as Marius from this year's production of LES MISERABLES. Audiences will also remember Naima Carter Russell as a member of the Suzi Award-nominated ensemble of Lark Eden.

This season, Aurora Swing Night concerts will be held on Thursday nights at the spectacular Gwinnett event facility, 550 Trackside. This gorgeous setting built in 1904 contains granite walls, archways and original wood, all restored to their natural beauty. 550 Trackside is located off the Lawrenceville Square, along the tracks and across from the old Lawrenceville train depot.
