Atlanta Shakespeare Company to Present Presents ROMEO AND JULIET, 2/1-3/30

The Atlanta Shakespeare Company at The New American Shakespeare Tavern will present Romeo and Juliet in repertory with The Taming of the Shrew and Much Ado About Nothing. Previews will be January 30 & 31, and performances will run February 1, 2, 6, 7, 14, 15, 22, 28 and March 6, 9, 15, 21, 27, and 30 2014.

Join The Atlanta Shakespeare Company for their 14th anniversary of performing this play about young lovers, feuding families and one Friar with good intentions.

The production is directed by Matt Felten. The cast will feature Annie York Hester as Juliet, Nick Arapoglou as Romeo, Andrew Houchins as Mercutio, Paul Hester as Benvolio, Vinnie Mascola as Tybalt, Matt Nitchie as Friar Lawrence, Rivka Levin as the Nurse, and many more. There will be a lively question and answer session with the cast and crew on Sunday March 9 after the show.

Performances will be Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 6:30pm, and most Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00am.

Tickets can be purchased for main floor seats, box seats on the floor, and balcony seats. For Thursday night performances, all regular (non-preview) shows are $20 for adults and $15 for students. For Friday night performances, main floor seats are $32, box seats are $26, and balcony seats are $22. For Saturday night performances and the performance on February 14, main floor seats are $36, box seats are $30, and balcony seats are $24. For Sunday night performances, main floor seats are $28, box seats are $22, and balcony seats are $15.

Discount ticket options are available. Tickets for previews are $15 unless otherwise noted. Students and educators get $5 off per price level per night except in the Balcony on Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets are $14 for 10am matinees. Military, seniors, and groups of ten or more get $3 off except in the Balcony on Thursdays and Sundays. Promotional discount offers are not valid closing weekend of a performance or on Saturday nights.
