The National Tour of THE WIZARD OF OZ announced that the students from the Atlanta Ballet's Centre for Dance Education will perform the roles of "munchkins" while this beloved classic is live on stage in their hometown.

THE WIZARD OF OZ, touching down in Atlanta from Thursday, February 3, 2011 through Sunday, February 6, 2011 sounded the alarm to find a group of 12 local children to perform the roles of "munchkins" as part of their continuing arts education and the Atlanta Ballet's Centre for Dance Education answered.

This opportunity will provide the students with real-life touring theatre experience. They will discover what it's like to be part of a professional company, learn choreography by Leigh Constantine and be outfitted in the costume designs of Tim McQuillen-Wright. It's truly a unique experience and incredible opportunity for these aspiring actors/actresses to follow their yellow brick road! The lucky children that will perform in the Atlanta engagement are Lucy Brewer, Micah Bolton, Maggie Cushman, Anne-Duncan Enright, Juliana Franklin, Alex Greiner, Lauren Hibbard, Avery Hinchman, Santiago Morales, Fiona O'Halloran, Ansley Reynolds, and Maya Webster.

Tickets for THE WIZARD OF OZ are affordably priced from $20.00 to $63.00 plus ticketing fees are on sale now and available at the Bank of North Georgia Box Office at the Cobb Energy Centre, all Ticketmaster outlets locations, Ticketmaster.com or via phone at 800-745-3000.
