Actor's Express presents MacArthur 'Genius Grant' recipient Tarell Alvin McCraney's Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet March 28 - April 26, 2015. Stirring, uncommonly magical and fiercely humorous, Marcus is the coming-of-age tale of a young African-American man discovering his sexual identity in the Louisiana bayou. "McCraney is one of America's most visionary writers," says Actor's Express Artistic Director Freddie Ashley. "His work, like recent Atlanta favorites Choir Boy and In the Red and Brown Water, always takes the audience on a theatrical journey." Performances of Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Tickets are $26-$45 and may be purchased online at actors-express.com or by calling 404.607.7469.
