Actor's Express Announces World Premiere of PLUTO by Steve Yockey, Begin. 10/31

Actor's Express is thrilled to announce the world premiere of Pluto, by Steve Yockey, directed by Melissa Foulger. Actor's Express is the beginning of its National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere. The production opens on Saturday night, November 2, 2013, 8pm curtain, preview performances are October 31 and November 1, and the ever-popular pay-what-you-want sneak peek, "Director's Rough Cut", is Wednesday, October 30. The show features Atlanta Favorite Kathleen Wattis, and introduces LA's Wyatt Fenner to Atlanta. FourPlay Subscriptions and single tickets are on sale now, at the box office (404-607-7469) or online at www.actors-express.com. Subscriptions are available as low as $55, preview tickets are $15, and single tickets start at $26; student and senior discounts available. Actor's Express is located at 887 W. Actor's Express Artistic Director, Freddie Ashley said, "I have long loved Steve Yockey's writing, but I think with Pluto he shows a maturity in his craft and in his voice that really catapults him to a new level." He continues, "I was so proud to have produced Wolves last season and Octopus in 2008, and I'm ecstatic that we're getting to introduce Pluto to the world. Rare is the play with the right balance of intelligence, heart and theatrical innovation - Pluto delivers on all three."

As Actor's Express did with Yockey's Wolves, so too will Pluto begin its National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere at Actor's Express; it will then be performance at Forum Theatre (Washington, DC, February 20 - March 15, 2014), and Orlando Shakespeare Theatre (Orlando, FL,February 27 - March 23, 2014).
