The Acting Troupe of Lambert will be bringing their full High School version of A Chorus Line to the local community October 19 - 21. This version of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning musical is adapted for performance by high school students with family audiences.

The musical is set on the stage of a Broadway theatre during an audition for a musical. A Chorus Line provides a glimpse into the personalities of the performers as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers. The show features one powerhouse musical number after another. In the finale you will even be seeing the ORIGINAL costumes/hats from the 2006 Broadway revival of A Chorus Line in NYC.

A Chorus Line opened on Broadway July 25, 1975. The musical received twelve Tony Award nominations and won nine, in addition to the 1976 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The original Broadway production remains the sixth longest-running Broadway show ever.

Artistic Direction/Choreography is under the direction of Lambert High School's Theater Department Director, Ms. Carly Berg and Music Direction under Lambert High School's Chorus/Music Theory Director, Mr. Ryan Wason and Student Music Director, Charlotte Weng.

Performances will be held October 19, 20, 21st at 7PM and October 21st at 2PM in the Lambert High School Auditorium, 805 Nichols Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024. The auditorium is located in the rear of the school.
