Act 3 Productions Wins Best Director, Best Featured Actor, Best Lighting Design at 2013 IMEA Awards

Act3 Productions received three awards at the Inaugural International Music and Entertainment Awards held November 2 at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Act3 was nominated in nine categories for its recent production of Hair.

The winners were: Patti Mactas for best director of a musical, Elliott Brabant for best featured actor in a musical, and Tim Roberts for best lighting design in a musical. Other nominees from the production included: Belle Adams (supporting actress), Theresa Dean (set design), Tara Folio (leading actress), Justin Kasian (leading actor), Johnna Mitchell (choreography), and Daniel Pope (sound design).

The International Music and Entertainment Association, Inc. (IMEA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and serving as an advocate for individuals and organizations within the performing arts industry worldwide. The IMEA Awards honor and recognize the best in independent music and community/regional theater.
