Come celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with Academy Theatre! Join us for a variety of fun-filled songs along with carols we all know and love!
Academy favorites including Lynna Schmidt and Annie Cook join Fracena Byrd to present an evening of great holiday songs! Melody Miles and Damon Bohan make their Academy debut. Some of the songs will be traditional, but some have a slight twist!
"This cabaret was so much fun last year, we just had to bring it back, and sassier!" says Lynna Schmidt. "Christmas is my favorite time of year, and music has always been a part of it!"
Fracena Byrd adds, "I love the fact that this show is perfect for the whole family. We've even added a drummer this year!"
Damon Bohan has been playing drums since childhood. He toured with a rock band in the 80's and has played with fundraising tribute bands in recent years. Bohan has also acted in and directed several musical productions with theatres around Atlanta for years. "I am so excited to finally be a part of a show here!", says Bohan.
Rounding out the cast is newcomer Melody Miles, a well-respected songstress in the Atlanta area with extensive cruise ship experience. "What a fun way to start the holiday season! When I first joined the cast, they kept telling me, 'It's going to be fun', and it is!", says Miles.
This show is suitable for all ages. It will be a great night for everyone! Tickets are available at http://naughtynice2.brownpapertickets.com.
