Join in the celebration of cinema at this year's 41st Annual Atlanta Film Festival in its opening night presentation of "Dave Made a Maze," starring comedian Nick Thune and featuring the directorial debut of writer-director Bill Watterson.
Lauded "a cult classic in the making," the narrative feature-length film combines elements of live action, puppetry and stop-motion video.
In a struggling attempt to create something of significance, Dave builds a fort in his living room where he falls victim to his own creation. Now trapped in a world filled with booby traps and fantastical pitfalls, Dave advises his girlfriend against entering the ever-changing mythical world to save him.
The film will open the festival on Friday, March 24th at the historic Plaza Theatre with scheduled appearances by writer-director Bill Watterson, and select cast and crewmembers.
