[title of show] -- the new hit musical by Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell -- is offering its third and final extension, with performances now set to run through April 30th at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street). The show was previously extended through April 9th and then through April 23rd.

The show opened on February 26th after beginning previews on February 15th. "[title of show] is the hilarious and bittersweet tale of two struggling writers named Jeff and Hunter who race to write and submit new musical to a theatre festival -- with the deadline just weeks away," state press notes on the postmodernly-conceived show.

As it did in 2003, the Vineyard partnered with Kevin McCollum, one of the producers of Avenue Q. McCollum first encountered the Bowen and Bell musical at the 2004 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Co-creators Bowen (music and lyrics) and Bell (book) star. Tony-nominee Michael Berresse (The Light in the Piazza) directs and choreographs, with musical arrangements and direction by Larry Pressgrove. Rounding out the cast are Susan Blackwell and Heidi Blickenstaff.

[title of show] features set design by Neil Patel; costume design by Chase Tyler; lighting design by Ken Billington and Jason Kantrowitz; and sound design by ACME Sound Partners.

Performances of [title of show] run Mondays at 8pm, Wednesdays-Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 5 and 9pm; and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are $55. For reservations, please call the box office at 212-353-0303 or visit www.vineyardtheatre.org.
