[title of show] Stars Perform at Tower Records on Aug. 2

On August 2nd, [title of show]'s Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen, Heidi Blickenstaff and Susan Blackwell will perform a half-hour concert of songs from the show as part of the "Any Wednesday" series, which takes place at Tower Records at Lincoln Center (Broadway and 66th St.).

The concert will begin at 6:00 PM, after which the [title of show] cast will sign CDs and greet fans.

Back by popular demand, [title of show] will kick-off an 8-week engagement at the Vineyard Theatre on July 14.  The show premiered at the New York Musical Theater Festival in 2005 and went on to enjoy a wildly successful run at the Vineyard Theatre in early 2006. 

The show's cast album, which was released by Ghostlight Records on July 25th, is produced by Grammy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Joel Moss and Sh-K-Boom / Ghostlight Records President Kurt Deutsch. 

Directed and choreographed by Michael Berresse, [title of show] has music and lyrics by Bowen and book by Bell.  The recording features the show's original Off-Broadway cast: Bell, Bowen, Blackwell and Blickenstaff, with musical arrangements and direction by Larry Pressgrove.   

[title of show] is a "hilarious and bittersweet tale about the artistic process and the indomitable spirit of two struggling writers and two struggling actresses who take on the seemingly impossible task of creating a new musical in just three weeks," state press notes.

[title of show] received a Special Citation at the OBIE Awards and was nominated for two Drama League Awards: Distinguished Production of a Musical and  Distinguished Performance by the ensemble.  [title of show] is produced by Kevin McCollum, Laura Camien and Vineyard Theatre.
