The cast of the hit off-Broadway musical [title of show] have announced that, despite earlier discussion of an out-of-town try-out, the production is aiming to open directly on Broadway in the Spring 2008 season.

Jeff Bowen (music and lyrics), Hunter Bell (book) with Susan Blackwell (currently in Roundabout's Speech and Debate) and Heidi Blickenstaff (currently in Disney's The Little Mermaid), held a mock press-conference in their recent "the [title of show] show" video cast where they nixed rumored-plans for San Francisco and hope to instead squeeze into this coming season.

The recording features the show's original Off-Broadway cast: Bell, Bowen, Blackwell and Blickenstaff, with musical arrangements and direction by Larry Pressgrove.
