On Monday, April 26th at 7PM-10PM, John Stamos (National Spokesperson for Project Cuddle® & Chairman of the Advisory Board) will host a Project Cuddle® event to raise awareness for the 24-hour, toll-free crisis phone line to stop baby abandonment.
Project Cuddle®, a non-profit charity, is the result of one woman's crusade to help prevent infants from being abandoned.
To raise awareness and funds for Project Cuddle®, a night of carnival fun has been created at Carnival (110 University Place) in New York City, NY. The evening of fun & games, food & drinks and an auction (www.chairtybuzz.com) is being sponsored by Brad and Lauren Egna. Carnival has all the amenities of a wonderland of amusement, with the added bonus of authentic games.

Debbe Magnusen (Founder of Project Cuddle®), who has fostered more than 30 drug-exposed babies, formed Project Cuddle's® crisis line with the hope of someday ending baby abandonment altogether. Since 1996, the 24-hour, toll-free crisis hotline has received countless calls from all over the country, and 668 babies have been saved from the fate of abandonment or worse.
Statistics indicate that every day an average of 57 children are abandoned. That's more than 20,000 per year--and those are only the ones that are found. Project Cuddle's® mission is to inform community members that frightened girls and women, some of whom may be hiding their pregnancy, can call anytime for confidential, safe and legal help. The toll free number to get free help is 1-88 TO CUDDLE or 1-888-628-3353.
