de'Adre Aziza to Play Joe's Pub, 7/24

de'Adre Aziza, who made her Broadway debut in PASSING STRANGE, will perform at Joe's Pub at 7:30pm on July 24. 

Aziza will perform a collection of original songs written by herself, as well as numbers by songwriters Stew and Nick Rolfe and Louis Ressy and by musical theatre composers Michael Friedman and Nick Blaemire. Aziza will combine various musical styles in her act, including musical theater and jazz.

Aziza was nominated for a 2008 Tony Award as Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance as Edwina, Marianna, and Sudabey in the award-winning musical PASSING STRANGE.  She also received a Theater World award in recognition of an outstanding debut performance.

Tickets for Aziza's performance will cost $25 and can be purchased at joespub.com.
