Zadan and Meron Given Career Achievement Honors at Artios Awards

The Casting Society of America will honor producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron with career achievement awards at the 24th Annual Artios Awards. On November 10th they will be honored with a dinner hosted by Neil Patrick Harris at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, CA.

Zadan and Meron have collaborated on countless sucessful projects including the recent "Hairspray" film, the made for television "A Raisin in the Sun", the Oscar winning film "Chicago", and a recent collaboration with Lifetime on the film "Living Proof" featuring Rene Zellweger, Harry Connick, Jr. and Bernadette Peters. This past winter they released "The Bucket List" with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. In 2007 they were honored with the Hollywood Film Festival's producers of the year award.

The Casting Society of America is the premier organization of theatrical Casting Directors in film, television, and theatre. Although it is not a union, its members are a united professional society that consistently set the level of professionalism in casting on which the entertainment industry has come to rely.
