Moss Hart and George S. Press materials state, "You Can't Take It With You is a heartwarming tale from the 1930's about dissimilar families joined with a marriage proposal. The Sycamore family is a collection of passionate individuals each pursuing happiness in their own unique way. Firework manufacturing, playwriting, ballet dancing, xylophone playing, and snake hunting fill the house with life. Alice Sycamore nervously anticipates introducing her fiancé Tony, of the affluent and conservative Kirbys, to her eccentric and unconventional family.  When the families finally meet it is an explosive occasion--both literal and metaphorical--worse than Alice ever could have imagined, as everyone ends up in jail! Propelled by Grandpa's confrontation with Mr. Kirby about the true value of life, the families are forced to resolve their tensions and learn the significance of the words, 'You Can't Take It With You.'"

The production stars Peter Aguero, Helen Louise Azzara, Shirine Babb, Margot Bercy, Jill Bianchini, Edward Campbell, Jr., Laurence Cantor, Edward Chin-Lyn, Jim Cyborowski, Andrew Gregor, Blake Hackler, Kathleen Isbell, Peter Judd, John Mulcahy, Christopher Negrin, Jamie Neumann, Jerry Rago, Josh Sienkiewicz, and Jacqueline van Biene. The creative includes set design by Ryan Scott, lighting design by Eric Larson, sound design by Christopher Rummel, costume design by Summer Lee Jack, assistant direction and choreography by Myvonwynn Hopton, stage managing by Shane Van Vliet and assistant stage managing by Miriam Hyfler.
